At its October session, the Steering Committee of the Education for Employment in BiH project approved a proposal to form an additional six expert working groups for specific tasks in the field of entrepreneurial and digital competencies.

The working group for entrepreneurial and digital competencies started working in September this year, and aims to include these competencies in the curriculum at all levels of education, from primary and secondary schools to universities, in accordance with current educational trends and recommendations of the European Union.
Within our project, six additional expert working groups will work on the development of learning outcomes of entrepreneurial and digital competencies of pupils and students, in accordance with their age. The members of these groups will be classroom and subject teachers, high school teachers and advisors of pedagogical institutes, who actively participate in the educational system and have direct knowledge of what students at certain levels can master.
The expert working groups will start working in November 2021 and will clearly define the stated learning outcomes by the end of the year.
The purpose of the inclusion of entrepreneurial and digital competencies in the curriculum is to prepare students for the demands of the labour market so that they are job ready on completion of the educational process. By developing digital and entrepreneurial competencies in the education system, students receive training that helps them better adapt to the modern labour market. As a future labour force, they also develop a more proactive approach in solving everyday challenges in the work environment.
